We are seeking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Product Development and Technology team. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for researching, understanding, and gathering business requirements to translate them into technical artifacts for software development and implementation. The Business Systems Analyst is an internal consultancy role that has responsibility for investigating business systems, identifying options for improving business systems and bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT.
Analyze and document business requirements and specifications for technology-related initiatives
Create technical documents based on business requirements for development
Provide support to the technology team throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that defined products meet with business requirements and specifications
Monitor and support the implementation phase for product releases
Work with third-party vendors and manage relationships and requirements between them and the company
Perform other duties as assigned
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint ad Visio) and other tools used in software prototyping
Proficient in data analysis and user interface design
Self-motivated, ability to work under minimum supervision and to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Excellent interpersonal skills. Embrace a positive attitude and work in cooperation with peers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must
Experience with workflow analysis
Experience with HIPAA
Monitor the market and competitive landscape to help source acquisition opportunities
Assist in conducting due diligence on prospective investments, including meeting with key stakeholders at prospective companies
Assist in preparing financial analysis to screen acquisition targets and maintain company acquisition pipeline reports
Identify and analyze risks to the realization of potential synergies from the acquisition
Participate in external meetings with bankers, lawyers, etc. to structure the transaction
Assist in post-acquisition integration processes related to finance, 40K etc.
